🎱🏆 Week 2: Early Leaders and Title Contenders!!! 🏆🎱
Only two weeks in and the drama is already building! A couple of teams have burst out of the blocks – Three Tuns storming to an early lead in Division 1, while WR All Stars make it two wins from two to top Division 2. Are these the early title favourites, or will the chasing pack rise to the challenge? There’s plenty of pool left to play, but the frontrunners have laid down a marker!

🏆 Division 1 Highlights
Egham & Hythe Whites 8 - 4 Shepperton Sports
Egham & Hythe Whites bounced back in style after last week’s defeat, claiming their first win of the season. They flew out of the traps, racing to a 4–0 lead before Shepperton clawed a couple back. But Egham proved too strong on the night, sealing an impressive 8–4 victory.
NRS 8 - 4 Staines Cons D
Another team hitting back after a loss! NRS edged a tight opening before turning on the style in the final six frames. The introduction of Jason Willerby for his first games of the season proved pivotal – NRS took 5 of those last 6 frames to secure a commanding 8–4 win.
Sunbury Con Club B 3 - 9 Three Tuns A
The early title favourites keep rolling! Three Tuns made it two from two with another dominant display. A special shout-out to Martin Court, who notched his first dish of the season in frame 11, alongside a perfect 3-from-3 performance. This team means business.
SS&NR Club 5 - 7 WR Sports A
A nail-biter! SS&NR pushed hard, but WR Sports held firm to edge it. Highlights galore: Greg Omahony celebrated his first-ever league dish – well played, Greg! Ethan Coates impressed with 3 wins from 3, but the standout was SS&NR captain Wayne Timbrell, also going unbeaten and adding a dish to his tally to take an early lead in the stats race.

🏆 🏆 Division 2 Highlights
Jolly Butcher 4 - 8 Sunbury Con Club A
First outing of the season for Sunbury Con Club A after a BYE in Week 1, and they made it count with an 8-4 victory over Jolly Butcher. Word is both Captains had a few hiccups with the app and needed a helping hand from the younger squad members – but credit where it’s due, Sunbury kicked off their campaign in style with a solid win.
Staines Cons New 9 - 3 Eddies
What a flying start for Staines Cons New, chalking up back-to-back wins against a resilient Eddies side. Known for the phrase “It should have been 12”, Grant probably had that in mind as his team stormed to a 6-0 lead. Chris Atwell’s crew fought back with three on the bounce, but the comeback was short-lived as Staines closed it out for a convincing 9-3 result.
WR All Stars 11 - 1 London Stone
The other early title contenders, WR All Stars, also made it two wins from two with a dominant 11-1 triumph at home over London Stone. A night to forget for London Stone, but one to savour for Michael Punter, who now boasts five wins from five and is fast becoming the player everyone will want to beat.

Early moves in the league standings from the Three Tuns and WR All Stars as well as across teams with the transfer of Mark Court from WR Sports A into Egham & Hythe Youth.
3 Dishes this week, 2 from SS&NR so well done Wayne, Greg and one from the Three Tuns, well done also to Martin
