This week brings a twist – no break or reverse dishes in sight! After the first few weeks, that’s quite the surprise. But the action hasn’t slowed down: big wins, nail-bitingly close matches, and the first signs of gaps starting to open up. The competition is heating up!

🏆 Division 1 Highlights

SS&NR 2 - 10 Egham & Hythe Whites

Egham & Hythe Whites stormed up the table this week, drawing level on points with WR Sports A after just three games! Captain Luke Emmett led from the front in a standout performance. An early surge saw Egham 4–2 ahead after the first six frames, but the second half was pure domination – they swept all six frames to seal an emphatic 10–2 victory. A statement win that’s sure to shake things up and take Wayne Timbrell unbeaten record.

Staines Cons D 7 - 5 Sunbury Con Club B

This clash had everything – drama, momentum swings, and a nail-biting finish - just no dish! Staines Cons D looked in control early, racing to a 5–1 lead despite losing their star man Daniel James (DJ) to WR Sports A. But Sunbury Con Club weren’t done – a spirited second-half fightback closed the gap and set up a tense finale. In the end, Adam Gray held his nerve in frame 12 to clinch it 7–5 for Staines. A true game of two halves!

Three Tuns A 10 - 2 Shepperton Sports

Division 1’s strong favourites keep their perfect record alive – three wins from three! Shepperton Sports showed early promise as Lito Estrella edged past Martin Court, but that was as good as it got. The momentum swung hard, and Three Tuns powered through in style, storming to a dominant 10–2 victory. With a seven-point cushion after just three games, they’re setting the pace and looking unstoppable.

WR Sports A 7 - 5 NRS

On paper, this looked tight – and it delivered! Both sides packed with talent, but WR Sports, boosted by new signing Daniel James (DJ), came flying out of the blocks, taking five of the first six frames. Jason Willerby sparked a fightback with a crucial win in frame six, giving his team hope. But WR Sports held firm, with Ben Reading and Ethan Coates sealing the deal for a hard-fought 7–5 victory. A close match!

🏆 🏆 Division 2 Highlights

Sunbury Con Club A 5 - 7 Staines Cons NEW

Another nail-biter in Division 2 – and the only win of the week in Division 2! Staines Cons NEW winning 12–0, but the final score read 7–5 - I guess Grant Baker might have thought so. Still, it’s a big result for a team brimming with confidence, now three wins from three and sitting top of the table. Grant Baker and his squad are shaping up as early title contenders – but WR All Stars, who had a bye this week, will be ready to challenge. The race is on!

Eddies 6 - 6 London Stone

One of two Division 2 draws this week saw Eddies and London Stone locked in a tense stalemate. Eddies unveiled new signings Stuart and Riley Markham and looked sharp early, racing to a 3–0 lead. But London Stone hit back hard, levelling at 3–3 by the halfway mark. The second half mirrored the first – nothing to separate these two determined sides as the match finished 6–6. A battle of equals!

Egham & Hythe Youth 6 - 6 Jolly Butcher

The second Division 2 clash ended in a hard-fought 6–6 draw between Egham & Hythe Youth and Jolly Butcher. New signing Mark Court, fresh from WR Sports A, couldn’t quite find his rhythm, with Emma Cooper impressing by taking one of two frames against him. The young guns from Egham & Hythe showed flashes of brilliance but nerves told at key moments. Watch this space – as they grow in confidence, they’ll be a force to reckon with! Credit to Jolly Butcher for a big performance in a tense battle.

What a week of pool – even without a single dish! Just one more round before the Christmas break, and the fixtures are looking tasty. Will we see another week free of dishes as everyone keeps an eye on their waistline, or will Santa be dropping plenty down the chimney next week? Stay tuned – it’s going to be festive and fierce!
