pologies for the delay in getting this update out – it’s been a busy time away from the table. This covers all fixtures up to the 16th June.

Next, all eyes turn to… ENGLAND! Come on lads—let’s bring it home!

------------------------------------------------------------

🏆 Group A:

  • Egham & Hythe Ladies 2 - 11 Three Tuns:
    • A strong start saw Lucy Allen defeat Martin Court, who called it “a fair result,” before Amber Pressman beat Leighton Cumber to level things at 2–2. However, from that point on, Three Tuns stepped up a gear and never looked back, winning all remaining frames - including a break dish from Leighton Cumber in frame 11 to seal a commanding 11–2 victory.

----------------------

  • Egham & Hythe Youth 4 - 9 Egham & Hythe Whites:
    • Lucky - say no more!!!!! Espeically Luke Emmett!!!

----------------------

  • London Stone 9 - 4 Staines Cons New:
    • A game of two halves saw London Stone race into a 4–0 lead before Staines Cons New fought back, taking the final singles and two of the three doubles to close the gap. However, Chris Docwra steadied things with a win over Steve Kent, sparking a strong finish as London Stone claimed four of the final five frames to secure a 9–4 victory.

----------------------

  • SS&NR 5 - 8 NRS:
    • SS&NR made the brighter start, winning three of the opening five singles, with Paul Sheldrick the standout moment thanks to a clinical reverse dish in frame 2 against Paul Fisher. However, NRS responded strongly, taking control by winning six of the final eight frames - two doubles and four singles - to secure a solid 8–5 victory.

🏆🏆 Group B:

  • Jolly Butcher 5 - 8 Eddies:
    • Jolly Butcher made a brilliant start, racing into a 4–1 lead, with Hiss Salih the only winner for Eddies in the early stages. However, even without their Captain, Leader and Legend Chris Atwell, Eddies produced a strong comeback taking all three doubles and four of the final five singles to turn it around and secure an 8–5 victory.

----------------------

  •  Staines Cons D 8 - 5 Sunbury Con Club A:
    • Staines Cons D did enough to get over the line with an 8–5 win, taking three of the opening five singles and two of the three doubles before sealing the result with three more wins from the final five frames. Standout performances on the night came from Adam Gray and Russell Cooper, who impressed for both sides.

----------------------

  • Sunbury Con Club B 6 - 7 Shepperton Sports:
    • A tight encounter and the only one to go to a decider saw Shepperton Sports edge it against Sunbury Con Club B in a deciding frame. Shepperton made the stronger start, leading 3–2 and taking two of the doubles, but Father and Daughter duo Bobby and Ami Heard secured a crucial win to spark the comeback. With the match locked at 6–6, Charles Smith held his nerve to defeat Chris Armstrong and seal the victory.

----------------------

  • WR Sports A 8 - 5 WR All Stars:
    • The WR Sports derby saw the A side claim bragging rights with an 8–5 win over the All Stars. WR Sports A set the tone early, winning four of the first five singles, including a break dish from Ethan Coates in frame two. The All Stars responded well in the doubles, taking two of the three, but the A side regained control in the closing stages, winning three of the final five singles to seal the victory.

----------------------

  • Shepperton Sports 8 - 5 Jolly Butcher:
    •  Played on the 16th June
    • A match that, according to Jason Anidjah, saw all the luck fall Shepperton Sports’ way still followed a familiar pattern, with Jolly Butcher starting strong but falling short in the end. Leading 3–2, Jolly Butcher couldn’t maintain their advantage as Shepperton fought back, taking two of the three doubles and the opening four frames of the second-half singles. Leo Cooper managed a consolation in the final frame, but it was Shepperton who took the win 8–5.
